    RM Laptop has hundreds New CCFL in stock. We also carry numerous screens, keyboards, cd's, dvd's, floppy drives, and hard drives. We can usually replace defective parts with high quality new, or remanufactured replacements! We have access to a database of over 1600 laptop and computer dealers, to search out hard to find parts by the LCD part numbers.
If you would like us to try to find any used, or new laptop parts, you must furnish us with the actual manufacturers part number. You may need to call the laptop's manufacturer for this information. Finding laptop displays is even more difficult. Many laptops have the same model number, but may use 3 or 4 different screens. We need to know the actual part number to search for a replacement. If you do not wish to remove the laptop's display to locate the part numbers on the back, we recommend shipping us the laptop. The normal charge for removing a laptop display and searching for a replacement is $50.00. We are also able to repair many screens, that are defective, but not cracked. Soldering make sure no spike points protrude from the end caps See picture below solder joints should be small but smooth and uniformly round.

LCD Backlight Repair

We Repair All brands of LCM LCD Screen Display flat panel faults.
We can replace your LCD cold cathode florescent lamp (backlight) for you, some times the glass tube becomes so hot the ends, become brittle and crack/shatter inside the LCD normally lower edge area of laptop panels.
We can normally repair and fix all problems including:
1 Those with LCD's failures (red screen) Example:- Dell 8100 backlight if red will cause the inverter to go into self protect-switching itself off.
2 Intermittent and completely dead component failures, Could be the Flex data cable
3 Liquid spillage = blured screen with whitish blured blotches.
4 Dim or Faint LCD,s (backlight out) or Red or orange display tint, will need backlight replacement, will refit LCD panel with NEW backlight in your LCD (extremely delicate operation) we found lamps (CCFL) cracked form heat or shattered form shock or Hiss from open circuit solder joints.
5 Transistor open & short circuits, Burnt out Inverter HV transformers. or unraveled flex data connector or cables. SEE
6 Blank screen = Bad bulb CCFL (red screen) = cathodes brown = Lamp burnt.
7 Faulty display = dry solder joints or static damage to I.C.
8 No Light= Bad inverter N MOSFET or faulty oscillator or Burnt out secondary winding.
   Yes we can replace surface mount components.
9 Missing individual lines on a display driver = pressure applied to edges of LCD  or blocks of data normally better to replace.
10 Blank display. Missing a block of lines, or a bar.
11 Dim or dark display or black LCD and tinted LCD red color.
12 Damage to the front of the display or Dim LCD Display.
13 Scratched surface of LCD we can re-polarize (replace the plastic coating over the glass square Thin Film Transistors [TFT]) with a new one.
14 Liquid spilled onto LCD we can also bring back to like new working condition.
15 Those with LCD's failures (white LCD screen) normally bad electronics inside the LCD PCB driver we repair for $85
